Remote Control via USB

1. Connect the Instrument

Connect the USB Device interface of DM3068 to the PC USB Host interface

using USB cable.

2. Install the USB Driver

DM3068 is a USBTMC device. After you connect the instrument to the PC and

turn both on (the instrument is automatically configured to USB interface), the

New Hardware Wizard is displayed on the PC. Please install the “USB Test

and Measurement Device” driver following the directions in the wizard.

3. Search USB Devices

Turn on the Ultra Sigma, the software automatically searches instruments

connected to the PC. Additionally, you can click

to search the

resources. During the search, the status bar of the software is as shown in the

figure below.

4. View USB Device

The searched instruments are shown under the “RIGOL Online Resource”

directory with the model and USB interface information, as shown in the figure

below.
